Lady Justice carries the scales representing truth and fairness. The blindfold represents impartiality meaning that your position in life will not bring you favor. In the case of Wesley Snipes and his conviction of tax evasion the scales of justice seem to be weighted down by his celebrity. Many have raised the question in Wesley Snipes case of whether the time fits the crime.


Tax evasion has been practiced for many years and was a part of the old boys club. Tax Evasion became a legal tool to take down the heads of Organized Crime, but there is an element in our society that it never seems to touch. Is Wesley Snipes crime being to rich and not smart enough to hide his money like the good ole boys? What do you think about the sentence and does the time fit the crime.

How much Government is too much government?

Tonight on www.bks1radio.com @ 11 pm est – 8 pm pst on the Live In The Vocal Booth Show. BKS1 Radio we discuss one of the governments ways to tell you how to be a better parent to your children. I think its good and bad in a way for to have too much government interaction with your personal day to day lives, but if its for the betterment of a kids life then I am for it.

Go to Parent Teacher Conference or Go To Jail!!!

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has proposed a law to jail parents who do not attend Parent Teacher Conferences. The law would require parent to attend at least one parent teacher conference a year. The penalty would be three days in jail for the parent if they do not comply. How desperate have things become where parents have to be threaten with jail time to be involved in their child’s education. Worthy stated “it’s child abuse when your child is failing in school and you are not involved you set them up for a life full of poverty”.

What would the outcome be if this became law? There are many other things we legislate involving our children from safety belts to underage drinking. Why not propose a penalty on parents who are not doing their job? What do you believe regarding Parent teacher Conference or Parent goes to jail?
