Being Single This time of Year – A joyful State or A State of Loneliness?

Recently a New Jersey Pastor Cedric Miller forbid his Church Leadership from having Facebook accounts. The Pastor said Facebook was a “portal to infidelity”. The Pastor was involved in a Ménage à trois with his wife, and a male church assistant. This raises the question, is Facebook to blame for infidelity? The Pastor goes on to say as he has counseled with many married couples this past year and Facebook has been the common denominator as a conduit to infidelity.

American Streets...the new killing fields

Many of us are far too silent and locked in by fear.  The fear that cripples us is the face of the violence and the perpetrators that seem to have no concise and no value of life.  Guns and Violence are no longer gated inside the urban areas it has spilled out and crept into the gated communities.


Violence face is varied in color, shape and age.   Violence has no respect for your address or your level of education.  We can’t move away from it and think its okay.  We can’t pull our kids out of the school system and think we don’t still have to work to make things better.


After the memorials, after the tears, and the graveside prayers, after the mourning, what will you do to bring about change?

How much Government is too much government?

I think its good and bad in a way for to have too much government interaction with your personal day to day lives, but if its for the betterment of a kids life then I am for it.

Go to Parent Teacher Conference or Go To Jail!!!

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has proposed a law to jail parents who do not attend Parent Teacher Conferences. The law would require parent to attend at least one parent teacher conference a year. The penalty would be three days in jail for the parent if they do not comply. How desperate have things become where parents have to be threaten with jail time to be involved in their child’s education. Worthy stated “it’s child abuse when your child is failing in school and you are not involved you set them up for a life full of poverty”.

What would the outcome be if this became law? There are many other things we legislate involving our children from safety belts to underage drinking. Why not propose a penalty on parents who are not doing their job? What do you believe regarding Parent teacher Conference or Parent goes to jail?
