Each year we celebrate the birth of Dr. King we honor his life, and his sacrifice w/ a National Holiday and celebrations, but have we transferred the meaning of his philosophy and example of leadership to the generations that have followed? Have we taken for granted the Civil Rights Movement an it's impact on our lives?

Where are our modern day Dr. Kings? We our faced today with many challenges. We face drugs that have ravaged our communities and violent crime. We face poverty and a failing educational system. We face declining morals and abuse in homes. Where are the advocates and the leaders that we need to step out and make a difference in these areas?

Dr. King knew he was giving his life to give us liberty. What will you give? Tonight we will focus on his philosophy and how that worked to bring change and apply that thinking to the issues we face in 2011. Let’s celebrate Dr. King “Live In The Vocal Booth”

Freedom of speech is our human right, but have you ever been held back from speaking your mind or fell in to trouble utilizing your 1st Amendment Right? Some may argue the line between freedom of Speech as a liberating right for good and the ability to say or express anything is out of control. Let’s look at the Freedom of Speech in Entertainment and the evolution of main stream media from 50 years ago to today it is a boundless no limit arena. Thoughts and expressions seem to flow uninhibited, but at what expense. Has freedom of speech taken away prayer in schools? Has freedom of speech made it okay for immoral elements to be made main stream or has Freedom of Speech empowered the minority’s in this Country to have a say? Has freedom of Speech brought equality? There is no doubt that Freedom of Speech has changed the Landscape of our culture, but has it done more good or more wrong?
