Forty-five percent of white women (non-Hispanic) and forty percent of Asian women are unmarried. The percentage of unmarried black women is considerably higher. What are the circumstances that cause such a shift in the numbers? These numbers represent a large part of the population. Is being single the new trend?

The Pastor was involved in a Ménage à trois with his wife, and a male church assistant. This raises the question, is Facebook to blame for infidelity? The Pastor goes on to say as he has counseled with many married couples this past year and Facebook has been the common denominator as a conduit to infidelity.
What do you think is Facebook temptation the scapegoat or the cause? What’s next will people say my cell phone made me do it or is there validity to the thought that all these modern conveniences make it easier to be unfaithful? American Streets...the new killing fields
Tonight @ 11 pm est - 8 pm pst on www.bks1radio.com BKS1 Radio's Live In The Vocal Booth team discusses the rising problem of violence on our streets. All too often when tragedy strikes people look for the causes and point the finger here there and everywhere. We place blame on the community leaders, the community, the school system, the parents and drugs. When will we face the fact that we all share a part in the demise of our communities?
Many of us are far too silent and locked in by fear. The fear that cripples us is the face of the violence and the perpetrators that seem to have no concise and no value of life. Guns and Violence are no longer gated inside the urban areas it has spilled out and crept into the gated communities.
Violence face is varied in color, shape and age. Violence has no respect for your address or your level of education. We can’t move away from it and think its okay. We can’t pull our kids out of the school system and think we don’t still have to work to make things better.
After the memorials, after the tears, and the graveside prayers, after the mourning, what will you do to bring about change?
Tonight the BKS1 Radio team along with community leaders will listen to your concerns and offers of solutions. We will talk about what is working to curtail violence in other areas and what each person can do to make a difference. How much Government is too much government?
Tonight on www.bks1radio.com @ 11 pm est – 8 pm pst on the Live In The Vocal Booth Show. BKS1 Radio we discuss one of the governments ways to tell you how to be a better parent to your children. I think its good and bad in a way for to have too much government interaction with your personal day to day lives, but if its for the betterment of a kids life then I am for it.
Go to Parent Teacher Conference or Go To Jail!!!
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has proposed a law to jail parents who do not attend Parent Teacher Conferences. The law would require parent to attend at least one parent teacher conference a year. The penalty would be three days in jail for the parent if they do not comply. How desperate have things become where parents have to be threaten with jail time to be involved in their child’s education. Worthy stated “it’s child abuse when your child is failing in school and you are not involved you set them up for a life full of poverty”.
What would the outcome be if this became law? There are many other things we legislate involving our children from safety belts to underage drinking. Why not propose a penalty on parents who are not doing their job? What do you believe regarding Parent teacher Conference or Parent goes to jail? Do you think this law would make life better for our children?

Is it the lack of fathers in the home or parents that have to work long hours to keep a roof over the family's head? Parents allow television and music to have more influence in a child's life than they do. Have parents checked out of rearing their children and given the responsibility to babysitters, grandparents and sometimes the system?
What will it take for this nation to stop the political rambling and self-interest, to devise a plan that will end despair and give hope so people are not in a place where a violent act is their only option to survive? Most of all we will pay respect to the civilian lives that were lost that day and in the related events that followed. One mistake in our justice system can change peoples lives FOREVER!!!

Followed @ 11 pm est by our topic when we discuss the criminal justice system. We have the fairest system in the world, but sometimes it seems as though the system is always one or two steps behind the criminals. There have been countless times that criminal suspects have been detained or in custody and then released only to commit more heinous crimes that change many peoples lives. A case close to the hearts of the BKS1 Radio family is the case of Jameela Qureshi. Jameela was murdered in her own driveway by Luis Porras and Amanda Dove. Luis Porras had plead guilty of the statutory rape of Jameela's daughter and had a restraining order placed against him. In the statutory rape case he plead guilty and was sentenced to 8 years probation, which is astonishing to me. He had prior run ins with the justice system, he had a murder charged dropped which allowed this predator to remain on the streets.
